Moldovan Wine

Moldovan wine imported directly by Wine Chateau – from Château Purcari, Cricova, Mileștii Mici, Château Vartely and more – with UK delivery or collection from our shop in Towcester.

Where to start

  • Château Purcari – the historic estate in the south-east of Moldova, making wine since 1827, including the famous Negru de Purcari.
  • Cricova – home of the famous underground wine city, known for its sparkling wines and classic reds and whites.
  • Mileștii Mici – mature vintage reds from the underground limestone galleries recognised by Guinness World Records for the world’s largest wine collection.
  • Château Vartely – modern, fruit-led wines from the Orhei region.

Moldova’s own grapes

Try the native varieties you won’t find in most UK shops: Fetească Neagră, Fetească Albă, Rară Neagră and Viorica. Explore them all in our Moldova’s native grapes collection, or read more about the country in Discover Moldova.
