Aroma: the wine is perfumed with aromas of cherries and plums, and painted by nature with an intense ruby colour with purple reflections.

Tasting notes: this Rara Neagra wine has a velvety texture and a well-balanced taste that is characterized by a blend of fruit, tannins, and acidity. The wine has a long and elegant finish with currant hints. It possesses a velvety tannins with a taste that cannot be confused with any other wine.

Vinification: Academia Rara Neagra is produced using traditional winemaking methods. The grapes are handpicked and carefully selected for the blend. The wine undergoes maturation in clay amphorae, which allows for the wine to develop a unique character and enhance its flavor profile. After the amphorae maturation, the wine undergoes a short rest in oak barrels to provide an additional layer of complexity and texture. This combination of traditional and modern winemaking techniques helps to create a well-balanced wine with a complex and harmonious taste.
