Cask finish: this Carpathian Single Malt expression is a double distilled whisky, initially matured in a charred first fill ex Kentucky bourbon cask of white American oak, then finished in a hand selected Portuguese Madeira Cask giving it a rich deep colour (Madeira represents a fortified wine available in a range of dry to sweet styles, made on the Portuguese Madeira Islands). 

Appearance: deep copper colour, clean and clear.

Aroma: this whisky delights with an intense scent with hints of white pepper, oak, honey, raisins and candies. 

Tasting notes: this whisky with a finish in Madeira barrels offers tasting notes of honey, raisins, red grapes and raspberries, all complemented by a light nutty aroma.

Finish: sweet, long and complex.
