Discover Moldovan Wines – Wine Tasting Event

A wine tasting event sounds great in theory, but where do you start? At Wine Chateau we are keen to organising such tasting events that are fun and supply educational experiences. As we focus towards introduction of Moldova Wines into UK market one 11.Feb.2023 we hosted an event with the theme Discover Moldova Wines where we sampled Wines from Cricova Winery. We wanted to keep the wine tasting event focused towards indigenous wine grape therefore the following wines were used to sample:

• Viorica  Dry White 2022
• Feteasca Alba White 2022
• Feteasca Neagra Limited Edition Red 2019 Vintage
• Vin Virgin Merlot Red Wine 2017 Vintage ( proposed for future supply in the UK market)

The event was attended by 29 wine lovers & enthusiasts which  were keen to learn and find more about what Moldova could offer. Whilst enjoying the beautiful bouquet and aromas of the wines the guests were enjoying a charcuterie bord with food pairings special selected for the wines at the event.

The event was in a relaxing and social atmosphere where the guests could ask questions to the hosts Cristina and Constantin. Therefore, one of the final questions was how can you sample and discover more Moldovan wines? Giving us a reason to work harder and potentially provide Moldovan wine tours.

We would like to express our appreciation for those who attended and those who could not attend our wine tasting event. We will continue our hard work and input our efforts into providing Moldovan memorable wine tasting experiences.
