Aroma: this Rară Neagră is the winery’s answer to the French Pinot Noir. It offers a delicate bouquet of dried plums, blackberries and cinnamon. 

Tasting notes: vinified with care and dedication, Chateau Purcari‘s Rară Neagră surprises with an opulent and lively taste, an explosion of forest fruits complemented by vanilla aromas of well-toasted oak barrel.

Vinification: the grapes are hand-picked and sorted before fermentation. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for at least 6 months, which gives it a smooth and elegant taste.

Food pairing: this Rară Neagră pairs well with roast duck with berry glaze, lamb chops with rosemary or grilled beef.

Serving temperature: 18-20°C.
